HOUDA HIJAB Malaysia

Tuesday

TWO.

At exactly 00:58 AM, 17th March 2012, Nur Nadira Huda was born. She turn 2 years old today. How is it possible that time flies really fast. A year is about 365 days. That is a lot of days. Being a parent, you just do not want your children to grow up so fast because you are scared of losing them one day. I did missed a lot for the past two years. I missed her first walked, her first hair cut and among others. It is frustrating but this is how my life is. I called it sacrifices which I guess is for my own good and my families.

So before I departed for Australia last month, Mr Hubby and I decided to baked her cake and celebrate her birthday in advance as I will missed her birthday again this year. I baked a simple butter cake with nutella topping and chocolate chip sprinkle on top. Little that I know, Nadira love birthdays. I guess it started when we celebrated Mr Hubby's birthday last year. She loves it when people sings to her birthday songs and blow up candles. She really digs it.

Before dinner that night, we, well I actually, put her in her fairy costume, ready for the celebration. She just look so cute in that costume. I took my camera out and get the cake ready on the table. We was so excited and keep on asking me when to start.

Nadira: Mama, cepat la Mama... Mama... Jom la...

That night we end up singing to her more than three times so that she could just blow out the candles.

Little itchy finger is happening right here!

She was singing along the birthday song.

There she goes finished with her birthday cake.

This was yesterday night when Mr Hubby celebrate her birthday with her Nenek, Atuk and Uda. Thank you Uda for baking her cake. Even when she does not have me there at this very moment, I am glad that I have them to make sure that she does not miss anything providing a normal life as much as they can for her.

HAPPY 2nd BIRTHDAY NUR NADIRA HUDA! :)

Saturday

F ME PUMPS.

I know that some women with beautiful face and body are very ambitious in achieving something exploiting these assets. SOME okay. Not all. It is something natural that you need to use your body and face achieving these ambitions of yours considerably "a whole new level" you said. You basically ripped off these mans life you know.

This world is cruel, yes I know. I am one of the victim trust me I know. Somehow people like me is being judgmentally over these ambitious human beings. Deep down inside my tiny heart has always been judgmental to everything. Is this bad? I hope these feelings that is driven by my thoughts is not going to make me restless. I mean these are just thoughts. They are not real. I repeat they are not real.

Women out there, please please do not be victim of this world. Be wiser than you are now. You are strong, tough and independent women. You need to work hard to have a better life as long as they do not involve exploiting your body. Your body is sacred. You need to appreciate them.

I love this song by Amy Winehouse, dedicated to these kind of women out there. Change your life. Do not be a joke to someone cynical smart like Amy Winehouse when alcohol ironically took her life away which is shit somehow work for me. Weird.

When you walk in the bar,
And you dressed like a star,
Rockin' your F me pumps.

And the men notice you,
With your Gucci bag crew,
Can't tell who he's lookin' to.

Cuz you all look the same,
Everyone knows your name,
And that's your whole claim to fame.

Never miss a night,
Cuz your dream in life,
Is to be a footballer's wife.

You don't like players,
That's what you say-a,
But you really wouldn't mind a millionaire.

You don't like ballers,
They don't do nothing for ya,
But you'd love a rich man six foot two or taller.

You're more than a fan,
Lookin' for a man,
But you end up with one-nights-stands.

He could be your whole life,
If you got past one night,
But that part never goes right.

In the morning you're vexed,
He's onto the next,
And you didn't even get no taste.

Don't be too upset,
If they call you a skank,
Cuz like the news everyday you get pressed.

You don't like players,
That's what you say-a,
But you really wouldn't mind a millionaire.

Or them big ballers,
Don't do nothing for ya.
But you'd love a rich man six foot two or taller,

You can't sit down right,
Cuz your jeans are too tight,
And you're lucky it's ladies night.

With your big empty purse,
Every week it gets worse,
At least your breasts cost more than hers.

So you did Miami,
Cuz you got there for free,
But somehow you missed the plane.

You did too much E,
Met somebody,
And spent the night getting caned.

Without girls like you,
There'd be no fun,
We'd go to the club and not see anyone.

Without girls like you,
There's no nightlife,
All those men just go home to their wives.

Don't be mad at me,
Cuz you're pushing thirty,
And your old tricks no longer work.

You should have known from the jump,
That you always get dumped,
So dust off your fuck me pumps.

PUTRAJAYA.

As Chinese New Year was upon us, we decided not to stay at home as the weekend is going to be a sleepless night with full of fireworks. Plus it is a long weekend. So we went back to Rawang and come back home on Sunday night.

On the last day of the holidays, she wants to go on a boat ride. She insists me to take her. This is how the conversation was.
Nadira : Mama, naik boat.
Me      : Nak naik boat?
Nadira : Nak!
Me      : Okay. Tunggu Abah bangun ye.
Nadira : Abah bangun! Abah....

So we decided to go to Putrajaya because it was the Wilayah Day as they have promotions on the tickets. As always, she keep on saying to me and Mr Hubby, "Jom! Jom!Jom!" and only stops when we are about to go out of the house.

Putrajaya, here we come!

A DAY AT THE PARK.

Little girl with big dreams...

Wednesday

THE FIRST TIME.

My first two rolls of films with Zenit122. All developed and scanned. The first roll developed came out as transparent. I guess it was because I took all pictures underexposed. I was a bit disappointed but it is okay. I learned a lot from my second roll.

All of the photos below is from my second roll with Kodak Ultramax 400.
