It was a short break and I try to filled as much as I can with love ones. Meeting my parents and siblings and of cos my in-laws. But I haven't got a chance to meet any of my best friends. Schedule is so tight! It was like 10 days break with 6 flight returns with 3 long transits. It was hectic and I realised that I'm not so energetic as I used to. I have got to keep up. Gosh Hudda, you are only 30! You can do this. I think that my brain is making me lazy. Nonetheless, it was a great break but I fail to deliver my assignment as I hope. Sigh.
Our first outing during the break. We had ayam penyet at Seksyen 7, Shah Alam for lunch. Then headed to Setia Alam Mall. It was the first time Nadira has her 1st walk in public. She was so happy and excited. She won't even let us hold her hand. She learned to walk 2 weeks before she turned 1. Seriously I am so proud of her. This is basically her third week of walking. She did fall a lot though, but she's tough!
Second outing is to meet my parents for lunch and had a late birthday celebration for baby Nadira and her Nenek (We Rawa people call our Atuk as Nenek). Before that, me and Mr Hubby brought her to the Sentosa Specialist because her flu and cough has not slow down and becoming even worst. She could not sleep properly at night. Poor baby. Then after, we headed to see Hazel to pick up the birthday cake at her place near Jalan Pinang and headed to Hyderabad Restaurant after. Oh her cake was so delicious! After heavy lunch, we went to One Utama to shop and all. Since Nadira is not feeling too well, after dinner we headed home. She sure got lots of presents I tell ya!
The next day, we were off to Rawang to my in laws. She is still feeling the same with flu and all. But when it comes to outing, she's all good. Wonder where did get this from? Heee...
Finally at home, her Abah assemble her birthday presents. She sure loves her new toys and gadgets!
Nadira in the morning. She sure never leaves her Mr Rabbit anywhere except in his mouth! :p
Since she is recovering from her flu and cough, we decided to get her to a different specialist. We headed to UMRA Hospital is Shah Alam. The doctor explain to us on her condition as common. Where she will eventually get well and get sick again due to sending her to the nursery-where she pick up the flu and cough. Interesting is when the doctor said that the are no medicine for babies her age. All medicine if you can see on the box is only tested on baby aged 2 and above. That is why even how strong the medicine is, she might not recover. It is all depending on her. On her immunities. After that verification makes me feel so much better. She's been having this a week before I was home. This is her at the hospital. So happy that she could walk freely! Click on the link to see video of her. :) Baby Nadira walk and talk!
This day Mr Hubby is working and he could not come along with us. Me and Nadira both with my father headed to Kuala Lumpur for a meeting. After the meeting ended, I sent my father to Puduraya for him to catch the bus home to Ipoh. It has been 5 years I have not been here. 5 years.. After they have transform that place, I'm impressed to see how Puduraya have changed! No traffic and fully air conditioned. I kind of miss taking the bus. Thank you government for that. It's funny how development can change not only physically but also emotionally. So after dad took his bus home, we both headed home. As always, Nadira sleeps during the journey. So I'm left with the traffic! Seriously I hate driving in anywhere in Kuala Lumpur nor Selangor.
Few days left before I headed home, we decided to take Nadira all the way up to 1860m above to Genting Highland! It was chilly. Does feel like autumn back in Launceston. She love it!!! I think she was so happy to see the games and lights. Unfortunately, she is too young to ride anything at the theme park. She is under 70cm so we just let her run free. So her Abah has not got her anything for her birthday yet. Mr Hubby went in Poh Kong and get her a pair of Minnie Mouse earing. Well, she could not wear it because we did not get her pierce yet. She is not feeling so good now. Maybe once I am back for winter break we will get her to pierced. We thought of staying for a night there but since Nadira is still too small, we decided to go back home that arvo. For next trip, we plan to either go to Langkawi, Legoland or Universal Studio in Singapore. InsyaAllah.
So this last outing before I headed back to Australia. We had lunch in Ani Sup Utara. The food was great. I just love their soup! Then after lunch, we went to SACC Mall to find her a tricycle. We could not find anything at a decent price range. So we decided to go Manjaku Baby near our home and find it there. And we did! And she got her first tricycle! :) It's easier to push her in this at the park rather than stroller. So when she get older, we will get her a real bicycle.
So that is my story on how I spent my Easter, which does not involve any bunny or coloured egg.
Just me, us and them.
